Please, help me. I may mistake but I suspect I am Gamma/Delta intuiter( maybe EII?). Forgive me my unperfect English.
1.What is beauty? What is love?
Beauty is a subjective conception for me. Beauty is something that pleases our eyes, ears, noses and souls( if we are talking about literature and poetry). Beauty is something that excites, touches, charms, moves or rejoys us. Beauty is what I want to keep attention on. I highly value beauty as I understand it. I love English landscapes gardens, romantic clothing style, poetry, snowy winters and hot brunets( the most handsome man for me is Armand Assante), my favorite flowers are lilac and pink roses. I love Christmas lights and really enjoy looking at them shining inside of windows when I walk down the street because they create the atmosphere holiday, childhood, mystery and magic to me. But it's only my understanding of beauty and I respect other's. I am always attracted to people who value beauty, are interested in art and surround themselves with beautiful things. And of course I respect admire those who create beauty themselves. On the other hand, I always remember that the outer beauty isn't everything and we shouldn't judge books by its cover. I don't close my eyes on the personality of tall, dark and handsome character just because he's tall, dark and handsome.
Love is respect, care, faith, affection and kindness towards other person. Yes, friendship is also love. I agree with Olaf's quote from “Frozen”: “Love is putting someone else’s needs before yours.” – Olaf. I am sure that not each person who says “I love you” is really loving. Possessiveness is not love. Obsession is not love. Domestic abusers don't love their victims even if they say opposite. Love is a very good feeling but the cult of it is sometimes really annoying. For example, I don't like the idea that love towards somebody redeems everything. Not all signs of love touch me equally. I don't like stories of loyal slaves and one-sided friendship. Friendship is not service.
Love isn't an only source of good in the world, hatred isn't an only source of evil. It's very important to remember.
2.What are your most important values?
My homeland – I am very strongly connected to my homeland and to my past, much stronger than average person. Nowhere I feel so comfortable and happy as at home. My homeland may seem to be a plain sleeping quarter but I unspeakably love it. I hope it will be safe, quiet and peaceful forever.
My relatives' well-being – losing my relatives too early or too tragically is more frightening possibility than not being happy in love( for me). Of course, I don't talk about immortality but my relatives as long-livers is one of my biggest dreams.
Self-respect – considering myself as person who is worthy of respect and following my own rules is extremely important to me.
Health – it is needed for enjoying life as much as possible.
Justice and fairness – I really want goodness to be rewarded and evil to be punished more often than they do. I hate racial, ethnical and gender discrimination and LBGT-phobia.
My human dignity and being surrounded by good people – I really afraid of humiliation, violence, slander towards myself.
3.Do you have any sort of spiritual/religious beliefs, and why do you hold (or don't) those beliefs in the first place?
I guess I am agnostic. Just because I am not sure in anything that is not proved and I can't deny anything that is not refuted by facts.
4. Opinion on war and militaries? What is power to you?
Completely negative. There are a few things in the world that as bad as war. I completely agree with Ashley Wilkes here( I resemble this character in many ways): “If we win this war and have the Cotton Kingdom of our dreams, we still have lost, for we will become a different people and the old quiet ways will go.» And I think that people have all rights to hate those who started the war. Even if somebody murders the war starter or his/her henchpeople, I won't judge the murderer or consider this action as something cruel or immoral. But preaching forgiveness to the victims of war is completely immoral in my opinion.
The sense of purpose and vanity are the most overrated human trait ever. I can't admire or respect a person who does anything for power. I'd rather admire ( and even feel kinda envy towards) people who exult over other's success. I think this is a great and very admirable talent.
5.What have you had long conversations about? What are your interests? Why?
I love long conversations in general. My interests are moral phylosophie, the typologies of personality, music, fandoms, fanfiction.
6.Interested in health/medicine as a conversation topic? Are you focused on your body?
No, no and no! I used to be interested and I even wanted to become a doctor but then I become hypochondriac as a result of moral trauma. I am focused only on organs I think are the most vulnerable.
7.What do you think of daily chores?
It's very difficult for me to follow them. I almost never follow them.
8. Books or films you liked? Recently read/watched or otherwise. Examples welcome.
I guess my favorite books I've ever read is A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. They are very informative and widened my outlook. I love cultural references. Snicket taught me cooking pasta puttanesca. I learnt about many writers and poets from this books. I love the poem “The Road not taken” by Robert Frost, “Hymne to Prosepine” by Swinburne and “Light” by Bourdillion( Snicket cited these poems in his books).
Angelique novel series is also deserves to be mentioned. It is also very important for me because I learned so much about 17th century from it. I don't idealize this era( yes, it was much less comfortable than the modern one) but I love and admire 17th century men's fashion. And I really hate this “pink is feminine, straight men don't wear pink” stereotype. Pink is a beautiful color and would look gorgeous on many men. And so do glitter, jewelry etc. My favorite book of the series is the fourth one, “Angelique and the Sultan”( there is also an alternate title “Angelique in Barbary”). It's a very interesting, breath-taking story, full of adventures. The first book “Angelique, the Marquise of the Angels” is also great. The second and third books were also very good but I didn't like the cousin Phillip and his relationship with Angelique( too abusive). I don't like books 5-13 because of Charles-Henri's death.
My favorite Russian writer is Leo Tolstoy. I don't share his beliefs but I admire his writing style. My favorite book by him is “Ressurection”.
I also love fairytales and stories by Hans Christian Andersen. They are a symbol of my childhood.
My favorite live-action movies are “The Odyssey”(1997)(Armand Assante!), “Braveheart”( I know it's historically inaccurate but it's also very beautiful and Isabella of France is a great role model), «Patriot”(no, I am not Mel Gibson's fangirl, I am Jason Isaacs' fangirl, Mel Gibson just knows where to act and is a talented director). My favorite animated movie is Disney's “Pocahontas”.
9.What has made you cry? What has made you smile? Why?
I smile extremely often and people around me notice this. My fantasies and my imaginations almost always make me smile. Fantasizing is my lifestyle. People consider as weird person because I often smile with no visible reason and my smile is usually addressed to nobody. I usually smile even while walking alone down the street. It's my important distinctive feature.
Fears, offense, touching moments in books and movies make me cry.
10.Where do you feel: at one with the environment/a sense of belonging?
I've already told about my strongest connection with my homeland. I prefer passive lifestyle and communicating by Internet. All my surrounding are my relatives and people who share my interests( mostly people from the same fandoms). I also like be alone( but not always).
11.What have people seen as your weaknesses? What do you dislike about yourself?
Rigid morality( I don't think it's bad, though), pessimism, extreme vulnerability, unpunctuality, indiscipline( this trait is especially disliked by my lecturers). Many people think that I whine and complain too much and that I am focused on negative. People also often think that I am too idealistic and my dreams are too utopical to be put into practice.
I dislike my sloth and my inability to push the matter through. And my envy. I am envious for those people who are never envious( yes, that sounds funny). I am also kinda coward.
12.What have people seen as your strengths? What do you like about yourself?
Honesty, logicality( ability to explain and proof my point of view earnestly), sense of beauty(aestheticism), moralism, self-critism and a wish to be a better person, my ability to get to the essential of things.
I agree with. Things are like about myself:
* I am critical thinker. In my opinion it is extremely important. It's impossible to brainwash me. I see the issues of conceptions, ideologies, laws, traditons etc very well. I always think independently. I won't respect the authorities that don't deserve respect. I won't climb for high rank or status of the hierarchy if I consider the criterias of hierarchy as wrongful( yes, I am too cowardly and careful too rebel against hierarchy but I will disrespect in private). I also quite good at detecting logical mistakes.
* I highly value kindness and inner beauty. I don't take successful, ambitious or purposeful people as an example but I do take the kind ones. I tell the virtues apart from the elementary norms of humanity. I am never touched, excited with people's actions I consider as normal. Following criminal laws, taking care about your relatives and treating them good, not being racist/sexist/homophobic/etc. is norm. For example, I've never been touched by Narcissa Malfoy mother's love and I don't think it redeems the terrible nurture her son had( Don't get me wrong, I love some fictional villains( especially Disney villains! ) but it's a very different type of love). I am also self-critical and conscientious.
* I highly value justice and I put myself on other's place. I am totally agree with the Golden Rule( law of reciprocity).
* I countenance and advocate other people's sense of dignity and I have got it myself.
* I am natural, frank and even childlike. I am not cunning or manipulative.
* I see the Golden Mean and I almost always stay for it. I am against attacks and for protection etc.
13.In what areas of your life would you like help?
Routine, relieving stresses, magic kicks.
14.Ever feel stuck in a rut? If yes, describe the causes and your reaction to it.
I love quiet and measured life. My relatives I am permanently stuck in a rut but I am not really interested in changing my lifestyle. But sometimes I feel stuck in a rut when I meet those who have an active life, full of events. I feel a bit envy but just a bit.
15.What qualities do you most like and dislike in other people? What types do you get along with?
Like: helpfulness, honesty, generosity, justness, care, logicality, critical thinking, moralism, ability to put themselves on other's place, will to protect themselves and other people, supporting equal relationships.
Dislike: lack of logic or critical thinking, formalism and traditionalism, self-centered morality, possessiveness, tyranny, extreme meekness and pacifism. I dislike sexists/racists/homophobes.
I like ESI and EII more than all other types, other things being equals. I can't get alone with LSI.
16. How do you feel about romance/sex? What qualities do you want in a partner?
I don't look for them right now. I don't need neither of them right now. I want qualities mentioned in the question above. I want peaceful and equal relationship so I want qualities that are needed for creating them. I also hope we will have many common interests and will spend a lot of time together.
17.If you were to raise a child, what would be your main concerns, what measures would you take, and why?
I want to raise a good person so I must give him a perfect example.
18. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward and outward reaction?
I can't and I won't make friends with a person who has unpleasant or unacceptable ( for me) beliefs. If we are friends, it means that differences between us are ignorable for me.
19. Describe your relationship to society. How do you see people as a whole? What do you consider a prevalent social problem? Name one.
I am unnaive but not misantropical. People are very different from each other. Mankind is neither good or evil. “People are evil” is unfair generalization. In my opinion the modern society is, on the whole, much more humane and comfortable than it was few decades ago( not mentioning about centuries) but there is still a lot of place for improvement. I think a big problem is that many people see elementary norms of humanity as something singular. All social problems worth of attention. I personally care about lack of human rights in some countries. And the overall standart of living in these countries which is sometimes even worse than it was in Medieval Europe.
20. How do you choose your friends and how do you behave around them?
I don't have friends. Friendship is a big responsibility for me. Friendship is adjusting my lifestyle, dependence on other people. I retire into myself too often. I love speaking about fandoms a bit but not too often.
21. How do you behave around strangers?
Depends on situation.
