Hi there! I've been trying to figure out my enneagram type(with wing type) and tritype. I'm curious to know what you guys think. I've taken the RHETI and SEDIG test and I've gotten enneagram 3w4 and 5w6 respectively. I relate more to the enneagram 3,4,5,6, and 8 core fear and questionnaire. Thanks for the help, guys!

  1. What drives you in life? What do you look for? Being informed, successful, knowledgeable, a leader, wealth, ambition, powerful, future
  2. What do you hope to accomplish in your life? I want to be a leader of some sort, whether that be in the business or political world. Also, to create a better a life for my loved ones and others around me. I also want to make a positive impact on the world and also create a family dynasty similar to the Kennedy’s and Bush’s. Furthermore, I want to integrate the world more as a means of increasing cooperation between nations and decreasing the likelihood of conflict/war. Helping third world countries out of poverty, helping people in my own country (United States) out of poverty and have access to healthcare/higher education.
  3. a) What do you hope to avoid doing or being? b) What values are important to you? a) A failure, a fool, weak, power-hungry tyrant, not liked, hated, bigoted, hateful, being cruel unnecessarily. b) Having moral values are important to me and I don’t want to be a divider amongst people. Being hateful and bigoted partly the cause of a lot of humanities struggles/conflicts.
  4. What are your biggest fears (not including phobias)? Why? Not being successful and settling for an average life. Not reaching my long-term goals and being a failure. I also fear being taken advantage of, which is why I have a hard time opening up to people, being a “has been”.
  5. a) How do you want others to see you? b) How do you see yourself? a) As successful, admirable, a leader, confident, charming, charismatic, unique, creative, ambitious, open-minded, understanding, respectful, intelligent, tough, wise, calm, rational, good person, creative, loyal, trustful, in the future a good family man and good father, and reasonable. b) This is how I see myself at my best.
  6. a) What makes you feel your best? b) What makes you feel your worst? a) Being impressive, knowledgeable, well like by my peers, being the center of attention to some extent, being unique to some extent, being treated kindly by people, people looking up to me, helping people, being with friends and family, being praised, being complemented. b) Being exposed, sounding like a complete idiot, not being liked by others, getting taken advantage of, getting disrespected by others, being dependent on others.
  7. Describe how you experience each of: a) anger; b) shame; c) anxiety. a.) If it’s with people I know well, then my anger is usually apparent. If it’s with people I don’t know well, then I usually end up holding in my anger until I eventually explode. b.) The feeling of running away and isolating myself. I feel exposed, vulnerable, and at the mercy of anyone trying to take advantage of me. c.) nausea, paranoid, fearful, ashamed, weak, self-loathing
  8. Describe how you respond to each of: a) stress; b) unexpected change; c) conflict. a.) I become more detached, apathetic, and lazy. My drive for everything just dissipates, which causes me to be irresponsible, impulsive, confrontational, narcissistic, cynical, angry, and etc.… b.) Disappointed at first, usually angry, but I end up adapting to the new situation. c.) Usually I try to avoid conflict if it’s not in my best interest, however if it’s necessary I never back down. In terms of debating and intellectual discussions, I am almost always confrontational and condescending.
  9. Describe your orientation to: a) authority; b) power. How do you respond to these? a) Don’t really have a problem with authority, unless I don’t agree with their actions and ideals. I cannot tolerate the blatant abuse of power b) I view power as a vehicle for accomplishing my ideals and goals. In order to live up to my ideals, power is necessary. Justice without power is empty but power without justice is only violence.
  10. What is your overall outlook on life and humanity? Until recently, I held a very cynical outlook on humanity and even considered myself a nihilist of some sort. However, I have faith in humanity to make the necessary progress to ensure our survival. I truly believe that most people are good and well intentioned in most cases, even when it doesn’t seem that way. While I still hold that view, I also think most people are too naive, emotional, and irrational in most cases.
