I'm trying to better understand and navigate the dynamic between me and someone I really care about, but I can't figure out their type, none of them seem to fit. Plus I'm more familiar with MBTI and am really confused to be honest.
My type: INFP and Ell
Our dynamic: We have a magnetic attraction and sympathy for each other but can't understand each other at all, and are intrigued by that mystery. We each are strong in an area the other is weak but can't peacefully communicate beyond giving advice, so we mainly communicate without words
Her characteristics:
Our hype person. Always down for anything, encourages everyone to get out of their comfort zone and have a good time, boosts everyone's self esteem. Catchphrase is a screamed "LET'S GO!" Internally, though, she's torn between a love for fun and a cautious mind. She hates when logic or fear informs her she can't do something crazy, and will just stare at the diving board trying to will herself the ability to swim and the bravery to leap.
Natural leader. Primarily by example and the expectation of others to follow that example. But she also effortlessly includes, organizes, advises, motivates, and corrals others into an efficient team. She's practical and knowledgeable, discusses the conclusions she comes to about things, and we literally fall apart when she's not there to tell us what to do and how to do it. I also feel a planner vibe from her, she's the kind of person who's overly prepared.
Unemotional and no-nonsense. She's private and doesn't like to dwell on or speak of emotions, and prefers playful impersonal affection opposed to nurturing(smothering), prefers to be in control and shrugs off any interference with her independence and self-sufficiency. She communicates directly and doesn't like to stay stuck on one topic for too long, so she'll get annoyed if you ask too many irrelevant questions or beat around the bush.
Loyal and kind. She loves people and makes a friend out of everyone she meets and doesn't treat you any differently no matter how she feels or how long it's been since you've seen each other. Doesn't even seem to have a best friend, as she treats all of her friends with the same kindness and attention. She's a naturally selfless person.
