SEIs are as emotionally restricted as SLIs!

So I make a temporary come back to share an important insight of mine:

SEIs can be as emotionally restricted as SLIs. They only know how to cover it up using their Fe, which makes them come off as happy-go-lucky emotionally developed persons. But it is more likely an act they are performing, and a very convincing one, because they believe this act themselves. But ultimately, it's fake, it's not personality, it's a persona. They do not even know what their true emotions are, let alone that they can express such emotions.

I know this, because my relationship with my SEi gf finally got into a crisis, and only now I'm getting to truly know her. She's not really emotionally affective (Fi), which I had suspected all the time, and to which she now admits.

And even more funny: a couple of weeks ago a fiend of hers (ILE) came over to dinner at our place and brought her partner along, who appeared to be SLI. He (the SLI) and I got along great. Last Sunday, the ILE woman texted my gf that she and the SLI have broken up: he was not emotionally affective in her opinion.

Last Tuesday my gf and I went to the sauna and by chance the ILE woman was also there! So we started talking and the discussion was very confrontational for my gf, because her friend was saying the exactly same things about her bf as I have been saying to my gf in the past few weeks.

Too bad the ILEs bf is male, and the ILE herself is female, otherwise my gf and I could have swapped partners ;-)

Si is a great information element, but when used for the wrong purposes, can be a great killer for emotional development. Obviously the same applies to all other information elements.
