Hotelambush Questionnaire
-
Tell me about yourself I'm Jacopo, 22, from Florence, this is the 2nd questionnaire I take here on this forum :)
What do you study or do for a living? How did you come to do that? What do you like or dislike about it? University, law degree, I worked for a year when I stopped studying, but then felt the urge to conclude my studies!
It was a long way changed university various times and a lot more times idea, ending up in a immobilized state, and I'm still not convinced, I'm worried about my future workplace and my energy investment in that :/
I like the idea of large ooperativity scale and social work to make a difference somewhere for someone :)
What are your values, and why?It was a long way changed university various times and a lot more times idea, ending up in a immobilized state, and I'm still not convinced, I'm worried about my future workplace and my energy investment in that :/
I like the idea of large ooperativity scale and social work to make a difference somewhere for someone :)
Respect, Honesty, Frankness! I'm kind, easygoing/outgoing, sociable and enthusiastic.
I value respect for others and open-mindness above everything else, because I feel it as a need that everyone has, and I don't like to judge before seeing facts or knowing better the others
What else do you do on a daily basis? What are your interests and hobbies? Why do you do them?I value respect for others and open-mindness above everything else, because I feel it as a need that everyone has, and I don't like to judge before seeing facts or knowing better the others
On a daily basis I enjoy playing video-games/ watch anime / go to university :)
I enjoy cooking, but it's a bit more rare, and I enjoy sports too, but I have an hard time to keep it constant!
I love playing music with my band, really enjoy the electric bass (even if I tried a lot of instruments); taking walks in nature; travelling and exploring new places (I hardly do this unfortunately) and really, really enjoy meeting new people!
Because I value novelty in general, and it help me distracting a bit from the frenetic, outer world :)
What do you look for in friends? In romantic relationships?I enjoy cooking, but it's a bit more rare, and I enjoy sports too, but I have an hard time to keep it constant!
In friendship I look for lifelong friendships, respect with each other and I value helping each other in times of need, I love to give (and receive) support! I love romance in general, I love "love" in its essence, and I'm looking for someone who I can completely trust and rely on, to "walk" together the road of life, next to each other, for a really long time. I had my romantic experiences, always with a really serious approach to them, never had a one night stand or casual encounter, it won't give to any of us nothing special...
What conflicts have you encountered recently with other people? Why did they happen? Which kinds seem to happen on a regular basis? Most recently with my mother about my indecisiveness and "unmoving" condition toward university goal; It happened because I self-doubted myself and my capacities again, because I don't know if this would be a good choice on the long-time, fearing I won't love my job or won't find anything special/ won't excel in what I'll do :/
I hardly have conflicts and arguments with people, this is probably the one it repeats itself most of the times xD
How would your friends describe you?I hardly have conflicts and arguments with people, this is probably the one it repeats itself most of the times xD
Quoting their words "You're always helpful, we know we can always rely on you and you give it all you've got to help with our issues; You sprout an aura of joy that makes people feeling comfortable with you and feel automatically the desire to open up with you8 because they hardly feel judged; You are easily a step-up kind of person that inspire others and , with your excitement, you easily affect others' mood, you will be a good seller, of, potentially, everything" XD (I feel so embarassed guys)
What are your weaknesses? What criticism do you often face from others? What do you dislike about yourself? Indecisiveness, disorganizational problems: I lack a method for getting things done on a general basis (studying, for example, I don't have an efficient study method, and usually I rely on my improvisational abilities when pressure-pointed, rather than an efficient, active plan), or, sometimes, have difficult "picking a side"; these are my strongest weaknesses and I'm easily criticized on them (someone would define me "Irrational"), and these are the things that I dislike most about myself, and have strong troubles to overcome them D:
In what areas of life can you manage well on your own? In what areas of your life would you like help? People related matters, probably, I think I can easily affect change in them (at least, in the immediate moment, not totally deep down) and I easily understand all of their points of view, without judgin' them in an "complessive" way!
Probably I would need help to get things "moving" and on strictly logical and impersonal issues, sometimes I can be impartial or harsh, but only when really pressure pointed to my limit, ending up bursting up in anger an criticize others with a sharp tongue :/
What things do you find to be a chore? What things do you enjoy more than others?Probably I would need help to get things "moving" and on strictly logical and impersonal issues, sometimes I can be impartial or harsh, but only when really pressure pointed to my limit, ending up bursting up in anger an criticize others with a sharp tongue :/
Housekeeping, I hate housekeeping, but it's necessary to make me and others enjoy a good atmosphere :/
I love Dedicating my time to my hobbies mentioned above, or simply talking with new people, especially when people starts to open up with me!
What goals, aspirations, or plans do you have for the future? How did you come to have them?I love Dedicating my time to my hobbies mentioned above, or simply talking with new people, especially when people starts to open up with me!
I'd like to get a lot of money because I want to help my mother that raised me alone enjoying her elder life and live without big preoccupations, but, hopefully, doing so in a job that I really feel that could affect other's life in a way or another or actively making a change in society (or, if I had the talent, artistic expression!).
I don't know why! It's something that I always had in me
If you had enough money to live comfortably for the rest of your life without working, what would you do with your time?I don't know why! It's something that I always had in me
Volunteering and traveling mostly, while keeping relatives of me in a good, wealthy situation!
What traits do you find endearing that others might dislike? What traits are considered positive/neutral by others but tend to annoy you? People sure of themselves and their knowledge, even if sometims in a "scholarly" or pedantic way, I found them pretty endearing!
I dislike too smothering people, that want to pick decisions for others... I appreciate suggestions or tips, not when one chooses for me :P
What kinds of things do you do to manage and/or beautify your environment (your room, your house, etc.)? What do you think of daily chores?I dislike too smothering people, that want to pick decisions for others... I appreciate suggestions or tips, not when one chooses for me :P
Not very much, I'd like to paint my walls if I had the talent... But I enjoy attaching posters or pictures on my wall!
Daily chores kill me, I could invest my time in so many other things, but they are a necessary evil xD (even if I quite enjoy washing dishes)
How do you behave around strangers?Daily chores kill me, I could invest my time in so many other things, but they are a necessary evil xD (even if I quite enjoy washing dishes)
Politely, diplomatically. I prefer to be spontaneous, making an active attempt to entertain others! But I prefer keeping my most private things, or issues/overthinking results to only people pretty close to me (even if I prefer not to tell them, I prefer to be the one that takes care of them :) )
How do you react to conflict? What do you do if somebody insults or attacks you? I can be quite firm and aggressive if someone threatens my values or a friend of mine's, but usually I act as the peacekeeper for the rest of the people around me (If I know them very well, at least, with strangers I prefer to raise the spirits than be smothering with things I don't know), but I can easily burst out and declare my idea aggressively in certain situations (I am quite obstinate, especially when criticized harshly xD)
What is one common misconception that people have? Explain why it is wrong. I noticed that a lot of people are shy as hell because they feel the others could only be dangerous to them, or wanting to judge them badly, or get out of their way to put them down and backstab them.
I don't like this constant state of suspicion, people could be both devils or angels, we should give everyone a chance (and just observe a bit to learn to distinguish who wants to put others down and who wants to actively support others)
What did you do last Friday?I don't like this constant state of suspicion, people could be both devils or angels, we should give everyone a chance (and just observe a bit to learn to distinguish who wants to put others down and who wants to actively support others)
One week ago? I don't remember, I think I went with my band to go to a fair, but don't remember if it was friday, saturday or sunday XD
(p.s checked on my phone after writing this, it was friday for real xD)
Part 2(p.s checked on my phone after writing this, it was friday for real xD)

What is your biggest accomplishment? My work this year, even if I hated it (Hotel Receptionist) I was quite proficient at dealing with the clients and organize everything, that was a completely disorganized place, with absurd timetables and a lot of problems everyday, but at least I managed to calm the angry guests (and there war a LOAD of them xD)
What is something you regret? My breaking-up with my former ex girlfriend (2 years and 6 months of RS), we were "meant" for each other, since we didn't have any good RS aside from ours afterwards (even If she is happily engaged with a guy now for 1 year I think, I'm so happy for her!), but, things were not meant to last I think, we also were pretty young...
Also, I regretted to leave my basketball team when I was a kid
Who do you admire, and why? Also, I regretted to leave my basketball team when I was a kid
Gandhi, Mandela, Luther King and Malcom X because they managed to make a revolution without a shed of opposers' blood, foresighted how the world could change and fought for everyone's dreams and desires for equality to a more fair society.
What's been on your mind? Has anything been worrying or concerning you? What problems have you encountered lately? Yeah, mostly my University choice, since I'd like to work in the social setting derived by law, but also think I won't be cut so much for it... Also, I've faced some issues with romance, because didn't get "explicitly" any hint with the seeds that I started to sow with a girl, together... (For a while I felt she wanted really to start something with me, even after 4 months from her break-up, I felt she was still feeling it bad (3 years long, I get her poor thing) and she was really really happy with me, but didn't make me know how she was feeling towards me, I just got the answer indirectly by guessing from a mix of her emotions and her behaviours... More like a "gut" feeling, that was true, because her ex started to show again with ehr and they started to see each other again.. I tried to dig a bit, but she wasn't sure herself towards his attitude, and I feel she's gonna hurt herself again this way
What are your religious or spiritual beliefs and why do you hold them? I started to study buddhism a bit (I was born and raised in a Christian setting, not bigot, my mom was biddhist for a while too), I love its values, but I don't see myself in any particular religion. I believe a lot in spiritual and karmic energy (like the Ki or the Chakra from eastern tradition) and think it's in everything.
What are your political beliefs, and why? To what extent do you care about politics? Always believed in reforming left, especially socialism, because (at least, on what they preach) they always keep an eye out for weaker people in the social hierarchy (working class and so on), but I don't identify so much in any political side, neither I follow them in a so active way (even if I keep always an eye on the news!)
Would you ever be interested in starting a business? Why or why not? What role would you play in it? What kind of business would it be? Yes I'd like to; I'd like to be the head of the human resources because I'd like to be close as possible to my subordinates, working together for something really valuable that could affect a large change on society! (still need to identify "what")
What kind of work environment do you prefer? What do you look for in a job? Something that has a strong value or dream/idea to follow. As I said, I'd like to occupy a position as close as possible to my fellow subordinates to keep them well and, possibly, happy (even if in business' world harsh decisions are needed to be made sometimes)
What is or was your favorite school subject and why? Philosophy, because I love the endless amount of different perspectives and explanations on the same, returning issues.
I loved science too because I feel a really strong bond with nature.
How do you approach responsibility? What do you tend to expect of others?I loved science too because I feel a really strong bond with nature.
Well, regarding university I'm having troubles RN, as I wrot above, but on the work I give it my all and make people rely on me to get the job done. I like to expect at least the same seriousness i put it on, and I'd like an helping hand with each other to make things go smoothly.
Where did you go on your most recent vacation? What did you do there? How did you like it and why? I want to the seaside here in Italy with my cousin/uncle, I just relaxed a bit because I had 2 non-stop working months with a lot of problems (and started to learn about socionics there lol), we played a lot of arcades cabinets and pool, alternating it to seaside chilling, where I took a lot of walks. I loved it, I was raised with my cousin and it's interesting to see how is he growing up, facing similar problems that I had too!
What were you like as a kid? How have you changed since you were a child? Always happy and extraverted, talking with everyone and asking a lot of questions because I wanted to know how things worked, especially with grown ups xD Also, quite the Casanova in my elementary class ahaha
I became more responsible and a bit more unreliant on others before I know them well, less lazy and more "empathic" and not carefree as that! But I am pretty much similar to my infant counterpart
What was your high school experience like?I became more responsible and a bit more unreliant on others before I know them well, less lazy and more "empathic" and not carefree as that! But I am pretty much similar to my infant counterpart
I hated the first 2 years because people that I didn't get along well during middle school were still in my class, and I realy had a bad reputation because I was pretty grumpy then (my parents broke when I was 10, that was my way for facing it and not making it weight on my mom that needed a lot of help for keep the house going smoothly).
At least I was in prettty good terms with every teacher; I never estabilished strong bonds with my classmates (except more or less 10 out of 25), but during 2nd/3d year I met my former ex and had a parallel group of friends that was pretty united and strong
Talk about a significant event from your life.At least I was in prettty good terms with every teacher; I never estabilished strong bonds with my classmates (except more or less 10 out of 25), but during 2nd/3d year I met my former ex and had a parallel group of friends that was pretty united and strong
I don't know... My most significant event were mostly my relationships, espacially the first, because they helped me to grow up and evolve, leaving some important changes in my view of life and teaching me a lot of things, espaecially about the meaning of most important things in life (IE Friendship, Love, Work attitude and so on), ending up refining the value and meaning I precedently gave to them! :D
Do you like kids? Why or why not? I love kids! Actually, I'll start volunteering for my local kids hospital next month after a month of preparation :)
They are the purest things on Earth, like animals and nature, but they are meant to become the adults of tomorrow, and I always hope to transmit to them "something" like positive emotions or even important teachings :)
