Hello lovelies, Chae back at it again with the mainstream movie typing :lol: First off: Wow, what a Gamma flick. Liked it. Worth the money. Starts out weird yet gets better and better as you watch?! Perfectly cast Daisy Ridley and the terrific Adam Driver are magnetism embodied, plus lightsaber combat is going strong, feast for the eyes and ears.
The characters! I have a few typings that were quite clear to me and others I was clueless about. Join the debate :love: Here's what I observed:
Rey - ESI 6. Seeks to orient herself morally (jedi... or dark side... dun dun dunn) and to connect: with her parents, Luke, Kylo, friends, and also herself in the mirror cave scene. Implements with :Se:. Mostly, by moving and destroying stones :lol: Strong resistance/perseverance is her general tool. Plays with :Se: so I know it's creative, lets the evil in a bit - also :Fi: aye - to see how far she can go. :Ni: hidden agenda constantly lingers: "I saw your path!" and so on. You have to look closely but I think it's E6 looking for guidance (of the :Te: kind). Already reveals what drives her in the first sentences, plain anxiety. Displays how the abandoned 6 establishes loyalty, even to her utmost enemy that she wants to see in a good light so bad: again, ESI ego block there.
Poe - SEE-Se 386! Glaring :Ti: PoLR with authority, takes over himself with powerful base :Se:. Small sweet ethics moments. Integrates 6 at some point.
Luke - Beautiful IEI portrayal :love2: Astounding how he literally brushes off :Se:, even from a distance (SP/SO 9w8 style?). The magic of :Ni:. Coldest Luke appearance ever.
Kylo Ren - His type? HOT!!! :stroke: The 17th member of the socion, don't touch me. So damaged, so emotional, and really an unusual villain. That plot wrecks him more and more, and that's magnificent because you feel the depth, he gets so intense. A poignant and complex favorite. Sexual/social 468 coming through (I realized something. Antagonists/villains are super easy to type on the enneagram, always :yup: They are unambiguous about the downfall of their type, unhealthy characteristics stand out). Gosh, my baby. Beta or Gamma, couldn't narrow it down more because I was so distracted by his sad and fragile beauty. That chiseled face and body, puppy eyes on the verge of tears, always looks like he just chewed on his lips nervously... apologies, I digress. If I had to make an estimate: EIE, he got that entire Loki concept going on? Jesus Christ, Kyle. Jesus Christ. So gorgeous.
Rose Tico - Cutie on duty, also Gamma SF. SEE-Fi E2?
Hux - Very, very, very bad acting aimed at SLE 8 :8*
Phasma - By the few lines and the last movie, LSI 6.
Snoke - Gamma extro, cp 6. Have to say how they used him there was very confusing and left a giant plot hole :eek: So we don't know too much.
DJ (the hacker guy aka Benicio del Toro) - ILE, played masterfully. :Fi: PoLR - y'all my friends? Don't care and didn't even notice, gotta make some #deals. Rose is in a heavy opposition to him, it makes sense as quasi-conflictors with her subtype.
Maz Kanata - 4D :Se:.
Chewie Chewster - EIE SX/SO as usual. :Si: PoLR moment with those funny lil' creatures begging for food XD :cry:
