SEI Observations

S1 :Si:

SEIs are highly proficient at improving the quality of their lived experience through cultivating aesthetic and comfortable environments. In the process of subtly adjusting these environments to meet their own internal physical demands, it is very important for SEIs to share the positive affect to those around them. SEIs often portray a cheerful, peaceful temperament and typically invest a significant deal of attention towards the enrichment of their sensory experiences. In the face of rapid change, the SEI can unhurriedly dismiss these changes as an obstacle that lies between them and personal satisfaction. SEIs prefer to take time to appreciate life blissfully by carefully experiencing the colors, smells, tastes and textures in the present day.

E2 :Fe:

In communication, SEIs are highly receptive and adaptive to the emotional responses of others to maintain a jovial and harmonious atmosphere. The level of sociability that SEIs have can range from highly sociable in groups of close friends to shy and reserved towards those they are unfamiliar with. Nevertheless, these types take delight in cheering people up with their disarming sweetness and soft-spoken demeanor.

T3 :Ni:

While moderately adept at considering possible future outcomes and sticking to a linear path in life, this is rendered secondary to the SEI's focus on their immediate surroundings in the present moment. They can sometimes languidly respond to situations that require them to plan their lives several steps ahead or mentalize developing trends that have minimal tangibility in reality. However, if careful planning can secure their comfort in the future, SEIs can react to these future developments with a degree of anxiety and sometimes overestimate the amount of planning for required for a possible situation.

P4 :Te:

SEIs are generally unsure about and relatively oblivious to recognizing how to improve themselves and their productivity. When under constant demands to evaluate or recall large amounts of factual information, SEIs will get easily stressed from having to focus extensively on mastering a new skillset. Furthermore, SEIs treat those who proclaim themselves to be experts that are more knowledgeable than them as dry, boring and arrogant. These types are much more comfortable with coming to conclusions based on direct experiences rather than arbitrary statistics and can often treat non-epistemological sources with skepticism.

I5 :Ne:

Despite their natural inclination to stick to activities within their own comfort zone, SEIs are very appreciative of those who are able to introduce novel projects to them in an entertaining format. SEIs often have an intellectual curiosity to understand the inner workings of the world, but are unsure where to begin. SEIs very often adore brainstorming sessions because the ideas and suggestions provided to them by others introduce them to perspectives that they hadn't even thought of. The diversity of these ideas gives the SEI a chance to evaluate the reasonableness of ideas and prove that they are able to recognize the difference between logically consistent and inconsistent ideas.

L6 :Ti:

SEIs prefer to feel that they have a consistently assimilated what they have learned into a clear understanding. Commonly, the SEI will strive to improve their knowledge base in an intellectual domain of their interest, to the point where they can demonstrate their intellect to others through a concise explanation on the topic. Consequently, if an SEI's logical understanding of a subject has been carefully dismantled, the SEI will feel humiliated that they have made a mistake and can be quite hard on themselves.

F7 :Se:

In cultivating a timeless environment of hedonistic enjoyment, SEIs wish to create a haven for themselves to escape the conflict and aggression in their lives. SEIs easily tire from and are discouraged by highly competitive environments where behaving harshly is commonplace. These types can occasionally be taken advantage due to being too accepting of others and can have difficulty asserting themselves to get their own way. When attacked to the point of discomfort, SEIs can behave unexpectedly abrasive and rude towards against the attacker in an effort to get them to stop for good. However, SEIs will just as quickly apologize after personally attacking someone, to amend for saying anything that might've been hurtful.

R8 :Fi:

The soft, laid-back charm of SEIs allows them to adeptly form close friendships with those they personally like and think would make an excellent addition to their social circle. Rarely does the SEI ever harshly judge a person's character, as they are far more concerned about preventing people from ruining the group mood or inciting unnecessary drama to purposefully make others feel bad about themselves. Typically, the SEI will approach forming relationships with others carefully based on how happy the person makes them feel and refrain from making biased personal judgements that exaggerate the intentions of others.
