What is beauty? What is love? Beauty is when parts combine in such a way as to create a harmonic but even so striking whole.
To love means to trust, to understand and know another person`s failings and accept these as an integral part of one`s "beloved". To love means to believe in a common future and to wish for that. To find joy in the idea to be together with another human being until death "do us part"

Honour, tolerance, introspection, magnaminity, belief in the inherent goodness of Man.
Do you have any sort of spiritual/religious beliefs, and why do you hold (or don't) those beliefs in the first place? I assume that a Higher Being, acting univeral creator (and giving direction to the universe, something that one could call "meaning", also to life as such). I do not consider this Being as the source of "Laws" or "Commandments", nor do I believe that having a code of law/conduct etc.. based upon "divine revelation" is necessarily a good thing.
Actually I believe that ethics (and rules derived from them) should be defined by Man himself, based on understanding and tolerance.
Opinion on war and militaries? What is power to you?Actually I believe that ethics (and rules derived from them) should be defined by Man himself, based on understanding and tolerance.
War used to be a tool for the continuation of foreign policy when diplomacy had either failed or was not suited to achieve one`s ends (as for instance when you intend to invade a foreign country and intend to subject its people, diplomacy will not be the adequate means to achieve that end).
Nowadays wars of aggression have shown themselves to be self-defeating (even in asymetric wars, such as US/UK-Irak etc...). Effectively, one might say that if it comes to the use of military force, true politics have failed.
Even so, armies still have an important function as instruments of deterence (so as not to be attackd: if Irak had had WMDs, it would not have been attacked by the US...)
Power ist omnipresent, in all relationships, no matter how benign. Parents exert power over their children (based on physical strength, to start with), children exert power over their parents (by using emotional blackmail, for instance)... Power is neither good not bad, just a necessary tool for the exertion of will. Will is also neither good nor bad. Will just "is". The question is how will wields power (based on introspection, sanity/common sense, far sightedness of the person that is in possession of the power.

What have people seen as your weaknesses? What do you dislike about yourself? Occasionally people believe that I am manipulative. That is correct, but I do not see it as a weakness (only being found out). I dislike that I have caught myself being less loyal than I would have expected myself to be and that i found myself to be a bit of a coward.
What have people seen as your strengths? What do you like about yourself? Some people believe that I have a great deal of perspicacity and many appreciate that I am honest and tolerant and that I am helpful where I can
In what areas of your life would you like help? When the sky comes crashing down (I am bipolar II, meaning that this has happened on occasion)
Ever feel stuck in a rut? If yes, describe the causes and your reaction to it. -
What qualities do you most like and dislike in other people? What types do you get along with? Intelligence, tolerance, creativity, playfulness, elegance are qualities that I appreciate more than others.
I dislike persons who are unable to change their attitude, stick to patterns that have been inculced in them instead of reaching their own conclusion, are not prepared to critize those in power.

I wish for harmony but I want a partner that will be able to meet me eye-to-eye in all daily aspects of life. Sex: I prefer sexually responsive, active yet submissive women.
If you were to raise a child, what would be your main concerns, what measures would you take, and why? That my child learns to think critically, that it will always strive to learn more about the world (for its whole life!), that it will never judge a person because ot that person`s origin etc...
A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward and outward reaction? Define "belief"? If his point of view is interesting, I will give it some thought, if I find it to be convincing, I will think about it a lot and if I come to the conviction that he is right, I will adopt it as my own. But I will not necessarily aknowledge that I got the concept from him ;-)
Describe your relationship to society. How do you see people as a whole? What do you consider a prevalent social problem? Name one. Main social problem: unemployment and the fact that Europeans still cling to the outdated tennet from the Industrial Revolution that an individual`s value can be measured in how much he works (which leads to the question of how much he makes a month, this having become the main criterion for judging Fellow Man.
I am not certain that I consider myself as part of society as such, even though I always do my best to adapt.

How do you behave around strangers? Depends on the situation and what I expect from the meeting. Sometings I tease and/or mildly provoke so as to see how the other person will react, because I am always curious to see, how people "function".
