Ok, so here we go.
Step 1: The Individual
Model A was created to show how specific information elements exist on various levels of the psyche. In terms of Model A, there is Function 1 is Function 3 is Function 5 is Function 7. You don't sweep your porch with your role function or you don't think to yourself "I need to improve this function it is soooo weak". The whole idea of thinking about Model A like that is just flat out nonsense. Model A is a superfluous model, showing the various layers of the same thing. Model A is very, very poor at isolating distinct personality characteristics. Usually one someone states that "I am weak at this" usually it indicates that the person has few personality links to a specific functioning process. A person is probably composed of billions and billions of information elements links(dual types, tri-types... i mean really the layers are endless).Of course there could be archetypal pathways in which the personality has developed out of which makes individuals fit very well with a specific type(the tree branches grow out of the trunk). There could be other situations where the person feels very split over multiple types and can't really resonate with a specific one(dual, tri, or even quad branched). The branches are always diverging as a person goes through their lives. Every single interaction changes the individual. I even think there are probably transformation points where the branches grow to a certain way where they collapse back to the dominant functions and change them. More than likely after showing you this, you'll probably think I'm crazy.
